Luv Don't Live Here tells the story of Reggie Hamilton, also affectionately known as "Reggie Luv", a gay black man whose life takes a 180-degree turn when once he becomes severely ill. REVIEW:

I have said before and it is still very true that we do not have enough films about the black gay experience. Director, writer and producer Mikal K. Odom attempts to remedy that with his new "Luv -- Don’t Live Here Anymore" and with it he makes quite a debut. It is a compelling story that focused on Reggie Hamilton (affectionately known as Luv), a gay black male who fights against a crippling disability and a social life that is falling apart . His illness forces Luv to face the hard realities of his life and loves. It took until he became severely ill for him to turn his life around. However, he was not all that ready to change but as he fights for his life, he discovers some harsh truths about himself and his relationships with others.

Everything about this film is excellent and it is hard to believe that this is a first film.
