The Los Angeles skies had darkened and there was an air of excitement as I headed down the sidewalk towards Penthouse Nightclub in West Hollywood, California. After meeting up with the local Cockyboys fans for a few drinks and a chat about their favorite gay porn models, everyone was in a happy – dare I say gay? – mood, and ready for the events of the night, which included the 2015 Cybersocket Web Awards for gay porn. Cockyboys and several of its models were up for nominations: Cockyboys for Best Mobile Content Site, Best Video Site, Best Movie or Web Series of the Year – Answered Prayers, Best Sex Scene – The Banker starring Jake Bass and Ricky Roman, Best Content Producer, and Company of the Year. In addition to these many nominations, Cockyboys fans were cheering for Best Porn Star – Jake Bass, Levi Karter, Max Carter, Levi Michaels, or Max Ryder, and for Liam Riley or Tayte Hanson as Best Newcomer. There was plenty of energy to go around and, though everyone had their own porn star preferences, there were plenty of fingers crossed.
Once they started winning the awards, Cockyboys was basically unstoppable. Best Content Producer. Best Video Site. Best Film for Answered Prayers – The Banker. Company of the Year. And that fateful award for Best Newcomer, which last year was taken home by Levi Karter, was this year awarded to Tayte Hanson, CB star and artist sensation ever since he broke onto the scene early last spring. The cheering was never-ending as Jake Jaxson took the stage again and again, bringing all the boys with him, and graciously accepted the beautiful crystal (and suitably phallic shaped) awards from Mr Pam. With a little help from veteran model Pierre Fitch, Cockyboys gathered up all their wins and, with a final resounding cheer and thank you, prepared to take the celebration to a more secluded location.
